REVESTO GUIDE

ARTIST

Revesto is a space designed to enhance the value of creators and those who choose to stand out.

It’s a meeting place between independent fashion artists and people seeking a unique, authentic, and non-conformist style.
A concrete alternative to the logic of fast fashion, which over the years has impoverished artistic expression and made fashion increasingly uniform.

On Revesto, artists can sell their handcrafted creations or offer customization services, transforming existing garments into one-of-a-kind pieces, shaped by the vision and identity of the person who will wear them.

It’s fashion, but also art, storytelling, and conscious choice.
It’s an invitation to reclaim the value of what we wear, rediscovering the connection between creativity, beauty, and sustainability.

Only individuals (natural persons) can sell on Revesto.
If you are an independent artist, artisan, or creative, you do not need a VAT number to use the platform.

However, if you have a VAT number or represent an independent brand, you are still welcome to sell on Revesto, but you are solely responsible for managing the tax obligations related to your sales, according to the regulations of your country of residence.

Revesto does not verify the artist’s tax status and does not collect VAT numbers during registration. Each artist is fully responsible for reporting their income and, where required, for issuing receipts or invoices to final customers.

Revesto retains a fixed 10% commission on each completed sale, as a service fee for using the platform.

Since artists are treated as private individuals, Revesto does not automatically issue electronic invoices for each commission. Instead, it records the total commissions as sales revenue (corrispettivi) in compliance with Italian tax law.

If you have a VAT number and need an invoice for the commission withheld by Revesto, you can request it by writing to:
📧 support@revesto.it
(please include your full name, address, and tax ID or VAT number)

Customer data sharing for tax purposes

To help you comply with any tax obligations (such as issuing a receipt or invoice to the customer), Revesto provides you with only the essential buyer data, including:

Full Name

Address (for tax purposes only)

Tax Code (if provided by the buyer)

This information is available only to the artist involved in the transaction, and may be used exclusively for tax compliance, in accordance with GDPR regulations.

OPEN THE GUIDE

At the moment, Revesto’s services are available only in Italy, but we’re working to open our doors to many other countries soon!

Revesto is a space designed to promote art, trust, and mutual respect. To protect our community, we reserve the right to suspend or remove an artist from the platform in the following cases:

  • Sale of counterfeit products or items whose commercialization is prohibited by laws or regulations.

  • Products that violate the core principles of the platform, such as uniqueness, sustainability, creativity, and quality.
  • Repeated violations of the General Terms of Use and Sale, including dishonest or fraudulent practices.

  • Serious reviews or reports from users indicating misconduct, lack of transparency, or failure to fulfill obligations.

  • Offensive or unprofessional communication, either towards customers or Revesto staff.

  • Failure to provide documentation requested to verify identity or the authenticity of creations.

Age Restrictions
Revesto is intended for use by adults only. We may remove your profile if we discover that activities are being carried out by a minor.

In severe or repeated cases, removal may be permanent and not subject to appeal, to ensure a healthy, creative, and respectful environment for all.

Selling on Revesto is simple and transparent. Our only commission is 10% on the sale price of each successfully completed order.

How does it work?
When uploading your product, the system will automatically calculate the Revesto commission, so you’ll immediately know how much you’ll earn from each sale.

The commission is only applied when you make a sale: no registration fees, no monthly charges, no hidden costs.

The percentage covers platform costs, technical management, customer support, product promotion, and transaction security.

When do I receive payment for my sales?

The payment is credited to the artist only after the order has been completed and the user has confirmed the receipt of the product in accordance with what was ordered.

The user has 48 hours to confirm the conformity of the order and report any issues. In the event of a report, we will temporarily hold the amount due to you until the necessary checks have been completed.

How does the payment work?
All transactions are securely processed through the integrated payment platform Stripe.

In your REVESTO BALANCE, you’ll always see the updated status of all your transactions. The amount from each sale is credited to your Stripe Balance, already net of the 10% commission retained by the platform. Through Stripe, you can automatically transfer the funds to the bank account or card you’ve linked, with the frequency you choose directly on Stripe. You can track your total earnings, received transactions, and payment history at any time both from your Stripe dashboard and directly from the Revesto Balance section.

Shipments on Revesto are handled by our logistics partner InPOST.
Once the order has been paid, the artist can:

  • Automatically generate the shipping label from their personal area.

  • Once the label is generated, you will have 28 days to complete the product shipment.

Recommended shipping times

  • For non-customized products, we strongly recommend shipping within 2–3 business days.
This helps boost your reputation as an artist on Revesto and increases user trust.

  • For customized products, the artist has up to 28 days to ship,
but it’s always good practice to inform the customer of the expected delivery time
and keep them updated on the order status.

Involving the customer in the creative process is a valuable plus!

Who pays for shipping?

Shipping is always paid by the end user:

  • For non-customized products or those customized at origin,
the user pays for shipping at the time of purchase.

  • For user-owned products to be customized,
the user pays for both outbound and return shipping when placing the order.

What if something goes wrong?

In case of serious damage during transportation or issues attributable to the artist
(e.g. inadequate packaging, customization errors),
the artist is responsible for covering the return and full refund to the customer.

We strongly recommend careful packaging and using only Revesto’s integrated shipping system
to track every shipment and keep delivery proof on hand.

At Revesto, we aim to ensure a transparent and safe shopping experience for both users and artists. Below are the key rules you need to know as a seller on the platform.

1. Returns in transactions between private individuals

Most transactions on Revesto occur between private users. In these cases, the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Code does not apply. However, if a buyer contacts you regarding an issue, we encourage you to seek an amicable solution, with support from the Revesto team.

2. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for custom-made products

If you sell a custom-made or personalized product, the right of withdrawal is excluded by law (Article 59 of the Consumer Code). It’s important to clearly state in the product description when an item is made to order to avoid disputes.

3. Returns from users purchasing non-custom products from professional sellers

If you are selling as a registered brand or professional and the product is not personalized, the user may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product. If the return request is made within 48 hours of the order, Revesto will handle the refund and return process. Otherwise, the buyer will need to make arrangements with you directly. In all cases:

  • The product must be returned unused, in its original packaging, and without any signs of damage.
  • The refund will be issued after you receive and verify the returned product.
  • Shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Damaged or non-compliant products

If a buyer receives a product that is damaged or not as described, they may report the issue within 14 days. In such cases, Revesto will assess the report and may intervene to help resolve the issue, including a full or partial refund.
If the report is legitimate, you will be responsible for all return and refund costs.

5. Refund timing and methods

If Revesto manages the refund (e.g., for reports within 48 hours), the amount will be refunded to the buyer’s original payment method. If the issue is handled directly between artist and buyer, the refund method must be agreed between the parties.Revesto may assist in facilitating communication between the artist and the client to help reach an agreement, but is not responsible for the outcome of any private negotiations.

On Revesto, artists have the opportunity to highlight their products or their entire shop to increase visibility and reach a broader, more targeted audience.

How sponsored content works

You can choose to promote:

  • A single product

  • The entire storefront of your shop

The sponsored content will be displayed in strategic areas of the platform, such as:

  • The homepage

  • Category pages

  • Search results

  • The “Explore” section

Insights and performance

From your reserved area, you can monitor in real time:

  • The views of your sponsored content

  • The clicks received

  • The sales generated directly from your ads

These insights will help you understand what works best for your audience and fine-tune your strategy.

Need to take a break? No problem! On Revesto, you can activate Vacation Mode to temporarily pause sales and better manage your time. Your shop will still be visible, but all products will be marked as unavailable for purchase. Customers will be able to view your creations but won’t be able to place any orders until you’re back. You’ll still have access to your profile, be able to reply to messages, and monitor your activity.

When to activate Vacation Mode

  • You’re on holiday or traveling

  • You have too many orders to manage and need to temporarily slow down

  • You’re working on a new collection or project that requires focus

How to activate it

  • Go to your personal dashboard

  • Open the “Shop Settings” section

  • Turn on the “Vacation Mode” toggle

When to deactivate it

When you’re ready to return, simply disable Vacation Mode to reopen your shop and resume selling instantly.

!! Note: If you have pending orders, it’s important to fulfill them before activating Vacation Mode or clearly communicate your timeline to the buyer.

If you sign up on Revesto as an artist, you’ll also be able to access the user interface to explore the platform just like any buyer.

How it works
Once you’ve completed your registration as an artist, a dedicated button (person-shaped icon) will appear in the menu bar allowing you to switch to user mode.

To return to artist mode, simply click the scissors icon.

What you can do in user mode

  • Purchase products from other artists

  • Explore the platform and discover new talents

  • Follow the profiles you love most

  • Save your favorite posts or products

Being an active part of the community as a user helps you get to know the platform better and support fellow artists like yourself!

If you wish to leave the Revesto platform, you can request the permanent deletion of your account in two ways:

  • Directly from the app: Go to the Artist menu and select the “Delete profile” option.

  • Or via email: Write to us at support@revesto.it clearly stating your intention to delete your account.

Deletion takes 14 business days from the moment of the request.

Once completed, the deletion is final and irreversible: all your data, products, and content will be permanently removed.

It is not possible to delete an account if there are pending orders or active disputes with other users.

We recommend resolving any outstanding orders or issues beforehand to ensure a smooth and proper closure.
