The First Chapter
On May 16th, the first chapter of LOOM by REVESTO came to life in Andria.
Set within the spaces of LAB106 Spazio Vintage, surrounded by research, garments, people and experimentation, a new format made its debut—created to bring independent fashion beyond the screen and turn it into a shared experience.
Before becoming an event, LOOM is a space for connection.
A place where different identities, creative processes and perspectives intertwine, creating something new through exchange and collaboration.
The journey begins with NU ALT.
NU ALT: Building, Unbuilding, Beginning Again
The first edition of LOOM featured Gianpaolo and Giuseppe, the creative duo behind NU ALT.
For the occasion, they brought a practice that shifts the focus away from the finished product and towards transformation itself—embracing error, repetition, construction and possibility as essential parts of the creative process.
An approach that resonates deeply with the spirit of LOOM: less about finished objects, more about open-ended experimentation and the value of making.
The Workshop: When LEGO Becomes a Language
At the heart of LOOM’s first gathering was a workshop that transformed LEGO bricks into printing tools, capable of generating unexpected images, marks and patterns.
Moving between play and process, participants built and dismantled forms through repetition, variation and trial-and-error, engaging with a practice far removed from the logic of standardized production.
Using reclaimed fabrics, existing garments and hands-on interventions, each participant was invited to transform a piece into something personal, shifting the focus from consumption to transformation.
Rather than a technical workshop, it was an invitation to develop a more direct and conscious relationship with what we wear, make and choose to keep.
Inside and Beyond the Space
LOOM was never just about the workshop.
Throughout the outdoor areas of LAB106, NU ALT’s posters extended the project beyond the studio, turning the venue into an open narrative shaped by images, identities and presence.
On one side, the process: hands at work, materials in transformation, experimentation in motion.
On the other, a visual intervention that carried the same language into the surrounding space.
In between was the most meaningful element of all: people, conversations and unexpected encounters.
Because LOOM was never created simply to occupy a space. It was created to activate it.
When a Community Takes Shape
With LOOM, REVESTO continues to build an ecosystem around independent fashion.
A space where value is not measured by speed or constant production, but by the people, processes and stories that emerge around the things we create and wear.
For one day, that vision took on a physical form.
Not as an extension of the platform, but as a natural expression of the culture and community that surround it.
